We love this router. No hassles. Works awesome. You have to have a separate modem. Easy to configure. We needed a faster connection for streaming video, both on the web and through our Netflix Wii. I tried the router for a long, long time and RV082 (be sure to download and install the latest firmware) is one of my favorites and very stable. It 'been running in various business sectors in most all my personal sites as well - no hiccups.

Very easy to configure and I like the fact that it includes a PPTP VPN server, making drop-dead simple to connect to the LAN using the VPN client already built into Windows (no need to install software). Also if QoSneed to limit bandwidth or promote certain protocols / customers.

I also recommend the RV042 (Hardware 1.1 with latest firmware) or open source m0n0wall gateway. That said, the RV082 is still stable and fast my router of choice.
