I bought this device to work with my Linksys Wireless-G to provide better wireless to a problem in my house. I have a Mac, so the installation disk was useless at first. My attempts to mannually device configuration failed, and online articles were not useful, so I broke down and called Linksys support. I had to do first. After a short wait, I got through the support of a very competent person who asked some questions aboutmy wireless network. I needed to updatemy firmware very out-of-date on my wireless router (which was the problem with my first attempt), then I was able to easily configure the device. Best support call I've ever had. Since then the product worked perfectly and I have full strength wireless anywhere in the house.
